dc.description2756 English source terms with their equivalents in the ten other official South African languages. The list was populated from terms excerpted from various study materials. The experts involved included the chief author of the Natural Sciences and Technology 2005 curriculum, subject specialists, lexicographers, linguists and members of the National Language Bodies. The list is by no means comprehensive, but the compilers hoped that it would contribute to mother-tongue education. Please contact the National Language Service for usage conditions.
