“Ngakhula kupheka abesimame,” kusho uMakwetla. “UGarnet wayengakuthandi ukudla okuphekwe abanye abantu. Wayebaxosha abesimame ekhishini.”

“Okuthokozisayo ngokupheka wukuthi upheka lokho okuthandayo - akufani nokuya e-restaurant uyothenga. Wukudla ozenzela wena,” kusho yena.
Ukuba sekhaya kwakhe ngoMsombuluko ebusuku yedwa, kumnika ithuba lokuphumula abuyise umqondo. “Ukupheka kunginika isikhathi sokuba ngicabange ngempelasonto edlule nangokuhlelela isonto elilandelayo.”
Ngezimpelasonto uma eziphumulele, uthanda ukuthokozisa abangani nabomndeni ngokubashayela i-braai.

Lamb Tagine (Casserole)
Izithako
500g inyama yemvu yesitshulu
1 u-anyanisi oqotshiwe
uwoyela
1 i-teaspoon (5ml) i-paprika
1 isipuni (15ml) ufulawa
ibinzana lewayini elibomvu
1 inkomishi (250ml) i-stock
45g i-cashew nuts
2 ukherothi ocwecwiwe wasikwa izikwedlana
1 i-apula elisikwe izikwedlana
1/3 inkomishi (85ml) isitshulu se-dried fruit
usawoti nophepha
Indlela yokwenza
1. Thosa u-anyanisi nenyama epanini kuze kube nsunjwana. Faka i-paprika, ufulawa, iwayini ne-stock. Kubilise.
2. Ehlisa umlilo. Kuyeke kugxabhe imizuzu engu-20. Faka, ama-cashew nuts, ukherothi, ama-apula nama-dried fruit.
3. Kugxabhise kuze kuthambe. Faka usawoti nophepha.
4. Kuseve ne-polenta ne-blanched beans no-anyanisi. Kuhlobise nge-parsley.

i-rosemary
1 u-anyanisi ocwecwiwe waqotshwa
1 inkomishi (250ml) i-chicken stock
1 isipuni (15ml) imajarini
Indlela yokwenza
1. Khuhla inkukhu ngosawoti, i-rosemary nophepha omnyama. Ibeke kwi-ovenproof dish. Faka u-anyanisi ne-stock. Kubhake kuhhavini oshisiswe ngezinga elingu-180oC ihora, kuze kube nsunjwana.
2. Susa inkukhu. Sebenzisa i-stock ukwenza i-gravy. Faka isipuni semajarini wehlise umlilo kancane i-gravy ize ishube.
3. Kuseve nerayisi nosaladi oluhlaza onongwe ngeDijon mustard ne-balsamic vinaigrette.
Iwayini elihle, ukudla okumnandi, abangani beqiniso - iyona mpilo emnandi!
