UKUDLA kusemqoka empilweni yethu kanti ukukulondoloza ukuze kuhlale kufreshi wubuchwepheshe obunesikhathi busetshenziswa abantu. Izindlela zobuchwepheshe ezisetshenziswa namuhla zibandakanya: ukufakwa efrijini nakwi-freezer; ukufakwa emathinini; ukomiswa; freeze-drying, ukufakwa usawoti nokugqunyiswa.
Ukudla sikulondoloza ukuze sehlise amandla okusebenza kwegciwane elidala izifo, noma ukubulala igciwane liphele nya.

Ngale ndlela ukudla kuyaqandiswa kufakwe kwi-vacuum enamandla. Amanzi asekudleni ayacweba – angabi yiqhwa kodwa abe ngumhwamuko.
Le ndlela isetshenziswa uma kwenziwa ikhofi.
l Ukufaka usawoti: Le ndlela yayisetshenziswa emandulo kanti kuyona usawoti udonsa umswakama amagciwane angayitholi indawo yokungena.
l Ukugqumisa: Le ndlela, eyayisetshenziselwa ukulondoloza inyama, izithelo nama-vegetables, namuhla isetshenziselwa ukukhiqiza ama-pickles kuphela.
Uma kugqunyiswa kusetshenziswa usawoti, ohlanganiswa ne-acetic acid enjengo-vinegar. (I-acid ibuye yehlise izinga lamagciwane.)
l Ukubilisa: Ukubilisa ukudla kubulala amagciwane, ukudla kube freshi kahle kodwa kubuye kukwenze kunganambitheki kahle kwehlise nezinga lomsoco.
