Chicken Curry-pot Malay Style

1 1/2 izinkomishi (375ml) i-red lentils
3 izinkomishi (750ml) amanzi abilayo
1/4 inkomishi (60ml) imajarini
1 u-anyanisi
1 u-green pepper
2 izigaxa ugaligi
3cm ophisi u-ginger ogreythiwe
1 isipuni (15ml) u-curry powder
1 upelepele okhishwe izinhlamvu waqotshwa
1,5kg ophisi benkukhu
1 i-teaspoon (5ml) i-turmeric
usawoti ne-freshly ground black pepper
i-dhania yokuhlobisa
Indlela yokwenza
1. Cwilisa i-lentils emanzini imizuzu engu-30.
2. Epanini shisa imajarini uthose u-anyanisi, u-green pepper, ugaligi, u-ginger, u-curry powder nopelepele imizuzu embalwa. Faka ophisi benkukhu ukuthose kube nsundu.
3. Faka i-turmeric, isinongo, i-lentils namanzi.
4. Kufake endishini esetshenziswa kuhhavini. Kumboze ukubhake ngezinga elingu-180oC amahora angu-1-1 1/2 bese ukuhlobisa nge-dhania.

6 amazambane acwecwe aqotshwa
1 isipuni (15ml) i-cornflour
Indlela yokwenza
1. Epanini thosa inyama ize ibe nsunjwana. Yisuse epanini uyibeke eceleni. Thosa u-anyanisi nogaligi kuze kucishe kuthambe. Faka utamatisi no-curry powder. Thosa imizuzu engu-5 ugovuze. Phindisela inyama epanini.
2. Thela isobho ukumboze. Pheka ihora elilodwa wehlise umlilo.
3. Faka ukherothi, iklabishi namazambane. Mboza upheke imizuzu engu-30-50 kuze kuvuthwe.
4. Kujeke, hlanganisa i-cornflour no-2-3 ama-teaspoon amanzi abandayo. Thela ebhodweni ukupheke imizuzu engu-2-3 ukuze kushube i-gravy.

Indlela yokwenza
1. Endishini hlanganisa usawoti, u-pepper, ufulawa no-curry powder bese ukugcoba enyameni.
2. Shisisa uwoyela kwi-casserole uthose inyama.
3. Faka u-anyanisi notamatisi ukuthose imizuzu embalwa. Faka amanzi nesobho. Kumboze ukupheke isikhathi esingu-1 1/2 hour.
4. Faka ama-veg nama-herbs ukupheke imizuzu engu-25 kuze kuvuthwe.

1. Epanini, shisisa uwoyela uthose inyama. Susa epanini ubeke eceleni.
2. Thosa ugaligi, u-anyanisi no-curry powder. Faka isobho eliyimpuphu uthele amanzi kancane kancane. Faka ama-raisins ne-chutney.
3. Phindisela inyama epanini. Pheka imizuzu engu-20-30 kuze kushube.
4. Pheka i-pasta emanzini abilayo imizuzu engu-10-15. Cwenga ufake kwi-mince, ukufudumeze bese ukuvuvuzela nge-dhania.
