Ndimi phambi kwabemi boMzantsi Afrika ngentobeko yethuba endilinikiweyo lokuba ndibe ngumlawuli kweyona ofisi yelizwe iphezulu ngokudalwa sisiganeko esikhethekileyo sokurhoxiswa kowayesakuba nguMongameli welizwe nesingunozala wesigqibo esithe sathatyathwa ngumbutho olawulayo eburhulumenteni.



Okwam ke kwezi nyangana zimbalwa, kukukhokela iSigqeba solawulo sikazwelonke ekuphumezeni ugunyaziso olwanikwa i-African National Congress kunyulo luka-2004 nasekwakheni isiseko esiza kusetyenziswa kulawulo oluza kuba semva kolo nyulo ukuze luqhube ngokusebenza ngokungenamikhinkqi.

Ngaphezu kwako konke oku, ndimi apha phambi kwenu ngokuzingca nangokuzithemba ngokuba lo Mzantsi Afrika sivuyisana nawo namhlanje – owahluke ngokukhethekileyo kulowo weyantlukwano, ukungaboni ngasonye nocalu-calulo obelugquba kwiminyakana  nje eli-15 edlulileyo – sisiqhamo sezithukuthuku neenkxwaleko zamakhosikazi namadoda asuka mbombo zonke zomhlaba. Kananjalo, akufunekanga siyidele imingeni esijamelene nayo. Inkxwaleko yemeko yezoqoqosho egqubayo kwihlabathi jikelele igeleshela ubungozi kwezoqoqosho lwelizwe lethu ngokubhekiselele kudendo emisebenzini nokuphuhla kobomi babemi.

Ndivumele ke mam’ uSomlomo nawe Sihlalo, ukuba kwesi sihlandlo ndibongoze bonke abemi boMzantsi Afrika abaselungelweni bahambe baye kubhalisela uvoto, baze bavote kunyulo oluzayo lukazwelonke nolwamaphondo, ukwenzel’ ukuba sikwazi ukuzilungiselela ikamva lethu (ngokwethu).



Oku kufanele sikwenze mihla le kwii-ofisi zoomasipala ngaphambi kokuba uvalwe umqulu wabavoti. Kanti kufanele silisebenzise eli thuba lenziwe yiKomishoni yoNyulo eZimeleyo, i-IEC, lesibonelelo esikhethekileyo sokubhalisela uvoto, ngomso nangeCawe, umhla we-7 nowe-8 kweyoMdumba.



Ndingathanda ukuthatha eli thuba lokuvakalisa ukuba kwezi ntsuku zimbalwa zizayo ndiza kuqukumbela iingxoxo endinazo neKomishoni yoNyulo eZimeleyo kuquka iiNkulumbuso zamaphondo ndize ndidandalazise usuku lonyulo.

Nangona le ngqungquthela yaye yacacisa ubungangamsha bemimandla yoMzantsi Afrika ngokwendlela esiyazi ngayo namhlanje, yayisekelwe kwimiba yengcinezelo nocalu-calulo. 



Njalo ke, kule minyaka ili-15 yorhulumente wethu wentando yesininzi, sisenokudandalazisa  ukuba uloyiko, ukungazithembi nenzondo ezathi kwiminyaka eli-100 eyadlulayo zadala  ukuzikhohlisa   kwamakoloniyali ngoxolo olucalulayo, zizinto ezazingenasiseko, nje, koko zingawo namampunge.



Zonke ezo nkxalabo nokungazithembi zaba ngunozala weminyaka ngeminyaka yokuzabalaza. Ngokuphathelele kuloo mba ke, singathanda ukuthulel’ umnqwazi igorha lelizwe lethu, uSolomon Kalushi Mahlangu, owathi waxhonywa kwiminyaka engama-30 eyadlulayo engabonakalisi loyiko ngenxa yokuthembela kulwazi lokuba igazi lakhe alisayi kuphalala nje, kuloko liza kunkcenkceshela umthi wenkululeko. Kwesi sihlandlo ke singathanda kwakhona ukubulela kongasekhoyo uEphraim Mogale, owayengumongameli wokuqala kaKhongolose waBafundi boMzantsi Afrika (Congress of South African Students – Cosas) kwiminyaka engama-30 eyadlulayo, nakumaqabane akhe.  



Kugxalathelwano lweenkumbulo ezingaba bafundi baloo minyaka kuzinga umyalezo wembopheleleko, umyalezo lowo othi kukho utshiseko lokunxanelwa inkululeko nolwazi kulutsha lwethu lutshisa ngakumbi kwimixhelo yolutsha lwethu. 



Imiyalezo yemisebenzi yalo yobutsha-ntliziyo ibubungqina xa kunamhlanje, nanjengoko kwakunjalo kuloo minyaka, bokokuba kufuneka siwenze aphangalale amajelo okufuman’ impumelelo; okokuba ngokwenene kufuneka, ngokoMqulu weNkululeko, “iminyango yemfundo nenkcubeko” ivulwe gengelele.

Kwakhona mam’uSomlomo nawe Sihlalo obekekileyo, kufanele sizibuze umbuzo othi: ingaba ihambo yethu iyibalula njani indlela yenguqu yoluntu loMzantsi Afrika ukusukela oko sathi safumana ukuzilawula ngokwentando yesininzi nokuba sesihambe umgama ongakanani na kuphuhliso loluntu nasekumiliseleni isidima soluntu ukusukela oko sathi safumana ugunyaziso lwentando yesininzi kunyaka ka-2004?



Namhlanje sinenkqubo yentando yesininzi esebenza ngendlela ekhethekileyo ekhokelwa yimithetho-sisekelo ecacileyo neselubala enamaqonga aliqela apho uluntu lunokuthi luthathe inxanxheba khona, kuquka amaziko azimeleyo agunyaziswa nguMgaqo-siseko ukuba axhase ukhokelo lwentando yesininzi.

Ekubeni ukunyuka kwamaxabiso kuye ngokufuthelwa kukunyuka kwamanani engqesho nemivuzo, ukuhla kwamaxabiso nenzala kwimali-mboleko, kwenze indima  kulo mba; siyakhuthazwa ke ngoko kukukhula okuqhubayo kweenzame zokuphucul’ imeko yezoqoqosho.

Ngaxeshanye  siya kwenza ngcono unxibelelwano lwe-SADC noMdibaniso weMarike (Common Market)   weAfrika eseMpuma nesemMazantsi, iComesa, noMbutho oyiEast African Community, i-EAC. La maphulo aza kuthatyathwa ukuze kwandiswe kunokuba kuncitshiswe ubudlelane obunzulu esibuxhamlayo kumanyano lweSouthern African Customs Union, i-SACU.

Ukudibanisa kumsebenzi wamaqela iziphumo zophando ngamanyathelo oQoqosho Lwesibini afana nenkqubo yemisebenzi yoluntu, ukuxhasa osomashishini  abancinane nabasakhulayo kunye namalinge ophuhliso lwemimandla yasemaphandleni;
