Before you are able to upload images or sounds, you must be able to add the Image or Sound field to a record beneath a certain Index field. Your ability to add either of these fields depends on the Access Rights assigned to you by the Administrator. If you require such capability for a certain Index field, contact your administrator.
•The system can upload and render the following types of image files: jpg, bmp, gif & png.
•The system can only upload and play the wav audio type.
•The maximum size allowed for any upload is 3.072 MB.
Uploading an Image or Sound
2.Insert an Image or Sound field.
3.Click inside the space provided for the Image or Sound field.
4.The Upload dialog will open.
5.Click the Browse button.
6.Select the picture or sound and click Open.
7.Click on the Send button.
8.Wait for the resource to be uploaded to the server.
Note: Cancel the upload by clicking [red x].
9.The path to the uploaded resource will be displayed in the Sound or Image field.
10. Save the record.
After the record has been saved successfully, the image will be displayed in the record. For sounds play and stop controls will be provided in order to listen to the sound clip.
