The Autshumato TMS allows you to easily insert formulas into records. In order to insert a formula, you must have write access to a formula type field (assigned by your Administrator). When selecting a formula field while either creating or editing a record, the DragMath Equation Editor dialog will be opened. The DragMath Equation Editor is an embedded version of the DragMath utility. For more information on DragMath visit http://www.dragmath.bham.ac.uk/.
Inserting formulas using DragMath
3.Click inside the Formula field.
Note: If you get a "Security exception" warning, refer to the Security Exception section on how to resolve this.
4.Construct the formula using the DragMath equation editor.
5.Press Insert to insert the formula.
Note: Press Cancel to discard recent changes.
6.Save the record.
Note: You do not have to use the DragMath editor in order to create formulas; by using the characters contained on the Insert menu simple formulas can be constructed in normal text fields.
Accepting the DragMath Security Exception
When the dialog is loading, you may get a Security Warning about allowing access to DragMath. In order to use the Equation Editor, you will have to accept the exception by selecting the box next to "Always trust content from this publisher". Click on "Run" to start the application.
