Email the administrator.

Entering the service

1.On the welcome page (index.html), click on last word of the “Guests enter here” sentence.

2.You will then be taken to the Termbrowser page.

Source and Target

It is possible to set the source and target languages used by the Autshumato TMS in the Source and Target drop-down lists. The drop-down lists display all the index fields in the termbank; i.e. the languages that are available in the Autshumato TMS.

Selecting a language in the source language drop-down list:

changes the default language (English) to the language selected;

ensures that search results will be displayed for terms found in the selected source language only; and

sorts the index fields so that the source language term will be the first index field to be displayed for each record.

The target language can only be set once the source language has been set. By setting the target language, you specify the language of the term to be displayed (if available) immediately after the source language term. The other languages will still be displayed, but will be placed alphabetically (according to language name) after the source and target language terms. If there is no target language term for the selected record, the terms in other languages will be displayed directly after the source language term.

To set the source and target languages

1.Select the source language from the drop-down list.

2.Select the target language from the drop-down list.

3.The search function will now search for terms in the specified source language and when a record is displayed, the source language term will be displayed first, followed directly by the target language term.

Contact Administrator

If you detect any errors on any of the terms or any of their attributes you can report it to the Termbase Administrator.

1.Open the Term Comment Form by clicking on the Contact Administrator link.

Note: You have to be viewing a specific record in order to comment on it. When no record is viewed, the comment form will not be displayed.

2.Select the Index Field on which you want to comment from the drop-down list.

3.Fill out the rest of the form by specifying your name, telephone number, e-mail address, institution or organisation that you represent, your field of expertise and comments on the term.

Note: Please keep your comments concise and to the point, only comment on the selected field.

4.Insert the captcha code.

Note: In order to validate you as a legitimate user, you have to insert the so called 'captcha code' in the box provided. A 'captcha code' is a security code displayed within a picture. If you cannot distinguish some of the characters of the security code you can press the Reload button to generate a new security code. Only after the correct security code has been entered and all the fields have been filled out, will the Send button become available.

5.Press the Send button to construct the e-mail.

Note: Once you successfully completed the form, the Send button should be active. If it is not active, then you entered an incorrect security code. Reload the code and try again.

Note: If nothing happens after clicking the Send button, the browser blocked the site from opening a pop-up window, which is required for this functionality. On Chrome, the following icon is shown in the right-hand side of the address bar: chrome_popup_block. To allow pop-ups for this site; click on the icon (shown above) and select the "Always allow pop-ups from *******" option.

6.Send the constructed e-mail to the provided address.

Note: Pressing the Send button will open your native e-mail application with a completed e-mail. Do not alter anything in the e-mail address, subject or body. By sending this e-mail, you will ensure that your comments will reach the Termbase Administrator and your comments will be taken under consideration.

To close this form, press on the Close button.

Allow pop-ups for the Autshumato TMS service

The first time you attempt to send a comment about a specific record, Firefox will block the pop-up that constructs the e-mail. To resolve this:

1.Click on the Options button.

2.Select the "Allow pop-ups for <server-name>"; where <server-name> is the address or name of the server running the Autshumato TMS service. It should be the first option in the displayed list.

3.You will now be able to send the comments.
