Signed-on users with the relevant rights can edit an existing record. The following actions can be taken to edit a record: •Removing a record from a project •Adding a record attribute or index field •Uploading images and sounds; and
1.Click on the Edit Record button. 2.Edit the record a)Add or remove this record to and from other projects respectively. b)Add new Record and Index fields by selecting the field from the Add record fields drop-down list. c)Add new Attribute fields by clicking on the Note: The fields you will be able to add will be determined by your access rights and whether you clicked the icon next to a record field or index field. If the icon was clicked next to a record field, then all the unpopulated record fields and index fields, for which you have access rights, will be displayed and can be added. If the icon was clicked next to an index field, then all the attribute fields associated with that index field will be displayed and can be added. d)Remove fields by clicking on the Note: Be careful when deleting fields, they cannot be recovered once deleted. f)Inserting formulas by using the DragMath equation editor. 3.Save the edited record by clicking Save. Note: To revert all of the recent changes to the record, click on Cancel.
1.Select a project (or multiple projects) from the Available Projects list. 2.Press the > button. 3.The selected project(s) is added to the list of project to which this record belongs.
Adding a record to all the projects
1.Press the >> button. 2.All the available projects will be assigned for this record.
Removing a record from a project
1.Click on the project(s) you want removed from the Assigned Projects list. 2.Press the < button. 3.The project will be removed and this record will no longer be associated with that project. Note: A record must always belong to at least one project.
Removing a record from all the projects
1.Press the << button. 2.All the assigned projects will be removed for this record.
Adding a record attribute or index field
1.Select the field from the Add record fields drop-down list. 2.The selected field will be inserted into the record. 3.Populate the newly inserted field with data.
