IMIPHUNGA neendlela zomoya zabantu abanombefu zibuthathaka kwizinto ezininzi ezisingqongileyo. Obu buthathaka (obaziwa njengokungavani nezinto ezithile) bukralisa iindlela zomoya nto leyo yenza kube nzima ukuphefumla.

Kubalulekile ukuba abantu abanombefu bawasebenzise amayeza ngokwemiyalelo kagqirha kwaye basoloko bebeka kufuphi izixhobo zoncedo.
Zimbini iindidi ezisetyenziswayo ukunyanga umbefu: izithinteli nezixhobo zoncedo.
Izithinteli zinciphisa ukukrala nto leyo ithintela ukuhlaselwa ngumbefu. Izikhuseli kufuneka zisetyenziswe yonk' imihla ukuze zisebenze kakuhle kodwa azizinyangi iimpawu zombefu.
Izixhobo zoncedo zona kuthiwa lunyango lokuqala lweempawu zombefu okanye ukuhlaselwa ngumbefu yaye zinyanga ngokukhawuleza. Zibizwa ngokuba ziibronchodilators yaye zivula iindlela zomoya ukuze umntu lowo uhlaselwe ngumbefu aphefumle lula. [x]
